I provide natural barefoot trimming services
based on the wild horse model. The wild horses of the western
United States provide us with insight to healthy hooves and horses.
The trim model of the AANHCP is based on how healthy, sound, wild
horses naturally wear their feet. This is the trim I provide to my
clients.
But the wild horse model does not stop here…
healthy horses are also all about healthy management. Healthy
management includes plenty of free choice exercise, horses kept with
other horses, a controlled diet providing plenty of forage, and
regular hoof care.
